Middle school students can journey to Teton Science School in summer 2020

Mehlville School District middle school students have the opportunity to attend Teton Science School in Jackson Hole, WY during Summer 2020.


Students will leave on a charter bus on Saturday, July 11 and return home Friday, July 17. Each day provides students with a different outdoor learning opportunity. 


Teton Science School attendees in summer 2018 canoed and recorded observations on Jenny Lake, recorded ground temperature data at Yellowstone National Park, painted scenery using water colors, hiked to the peak of Coyote Rock and more.


The estimated cost of the trip is $775. This amount covers: 

• $441 - Teton Science School expenses

• $300 – Busing

• $34 - Cost of misc. expenses, t-shirt and gift for Teton Science School staff

You can pay in full or follow the payment deadlines:

  • $75 - Thursday, Sept. 12
  • $200 - Thursday, Sept. 23
  • $250 - Thursday, Nov. 14
  • $250 - Thursday, March 5     

If you’re interested in attending, please return this RSVP and a $75 down payment made payable to Bernard Middle School PTO to your home school office by Thursday, Sept. 12. Spots will be secured on a first come, first serve basis.
