Students pair read a bookThe best way to maintain your child’s reading skills over the summer months is to spend time reading. This can be reading aloud to your child, reading alongside your child, or having your child read on their own.

Any and all ways to engage in books is beneficial – no matter how old your child is! While we encourage you to read any books you have access to, whether those are books checked out from the public library, books you have in your homes, or books you can find online, we have put together a fabulous list of titles recommended by our librarians and teachers:
