Report a safety concern

Mehlville School District encourages students, staff and parents to report any safety concerns they have to their school principal.

The following safety reporting systems are also available to our families and community members. These ways of reporting safety concerns are available 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

St. Louis County Police Department
To report an emergency or an after-hours safety concern, call 911. To report a safety concern during standard business hours, you can call the South County Precinct at 314-615-0162.

Courage2Report
Courage2Report is Missouri's statewide school safety reporting system provided and managed by the Missouri State Highway Patrol. Anyone aware of a safety concern or a threat against our students, staff or schools can make a report through Courage2Report. Reports can be made anonymously.

When a report is made, it is shared with district administrators and local law enforcement. All reports are taken seriously and are investigated by the appropriate agency. Depending on the nature of the report, sometimes law enforcement investigates and sometimes Mehlville School District staff investigate. Reports of incidents happening off campus or involving criminal activity, for example, would be investigated by the law enforcement agency with jurisdiction over the location where the alleged crime occurred.

Safe Schools Hotline: 314-889-SAFE (7233)

The hotline is available 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, to anyone wishing to report any gang or drug activity, weapons, physical abuse, violence or any other type of potential problem that may affect children while at school, home or play.
