Registration/Family Information Update
It is important that any new students are registered as soon as possible to give staff time to assign their courses and procure Chromebooks and other supplies prior to the start of school. Registration instructions for new families and existing families with new students can be found on the enrollment section of our website. All returning families must complete the Family Information Update.

The Family Information Update gives you the opportunity to review and update your phone numbers, email addresses and other important information. You will be asked to review our annual notifications, media release, medical records and technology policies. You can begin the process by logging in to Parent Portal

One change for this year is that all families will be required to provide proof of residency in the update. This step was previously only required of new families and those living in apartment complexes.

Please complete the Family Information Update as soon as possible. If you have any questions please contact your child’s school

Bell times/Alternate schedules
Mehlville School District operates on a tiered schedule for school start and end times. You can find bell times for regular days, as well as for half/early release days here

Mehlville School District was approved by the Missouri Department of Elementary and Secondary Education to use virtual instruction for up to five snow days each year. If a winter weather event causes road conditions to be unsafe, we will operate in a virtual schedule identical to their daily school schedule and students will meet with teachers on Google Meet. Parents will be notified via email, text message and phone of the schedule change.

Update: This school year, Mehlville School District will use up to four traditional snow days for inclement weather. Should the district need to close on additional days due to weather, students will have virtual instruction days. (Thursday, Oct. 28, 2021)

Keeping in touch
Mehlville School District is launching a new communication platform called ParentSquare beginning with the 2021-2022 school year. Parent Square is a simple and collaborative school-home communication platform designed to reach and engage every parent via the communication type and frequency they prefer.

Parents should have received a text message and email with a link to register for ParentSquare. If you didn’t receive a message or your link has expired, please contact your child’s school.

Families who attended Summer Session are already registered for ParentSquare and do not need to re-register.

Obtain your child’s immunizations
Please contact your family medical doctor, urgent care or the public health department to get your student's immunizations prior to the start of the fall semester. View the list of required immunizations.

If your child has received the COVID-19 vaccine, please report that information to your school nurse. Having this information helps us with contact tracing and may help avoid being asked to remain off campus following a COVID-19 exposure.

We are currently reviewing the COVID-19 safety strategies we had in place last year, and we’ll be sharing those details in mid-August. We plan to have students attend school in-person five days a week, unless they chose to attend our At Home program.
