Mehlville School District recognized for participating in Ameren Missouri BizSavers

Matt Farwig, business development specialist for Ameren Missouri, recognized Mehlville School District for its participation in the Ameren Missouri BizSavers program.

BizSavers provides cash incentives for energy efficiency upgrades such as LED lighting, high-efficiency HVAC and refrigeration systems, commercial-grade cooking equipment, motor controls/variable frequency drives and much more. Mehlville School District has become more energy efficient while saving taxpayer funds and reducing its carbon footprint.

To date, Mehlville School District has earned $864,630 in its participation in BizSavers. Ameren estimates the district has an annual energy cost savings of $495,098 from upgrades it has made to lighting, HVAC and commercial kitchen equipment.

The district is expected to earn an additional $479,000 in incentives for HVAC upgrades to be completed in 2024.
