Spring Job Fair 2024Note: This event was originally scheduled for Wednesday, May 8, but was rescheduled because of inclement weather in the forecast.

We're hosting a Spring Job Fair to fill openings for school bus drivers and substitute teachers.

At the job fair, you can learn about positions and benefits, meet department directors and even interview for a job. Join us from 10 a.m. to noon on Thursday, May 9, at Mehlville School District Central Office (3120 Lemay Ferry Road). Call our Human Resources Department at 314-467-5102 if you have any questions.

We've also started to hire teachers for the 2024-2025 school year. Visit the employment section of our website to view all current openings. We hope you’ll consider joining the Mehlville School District family!

Start your Mehlville Story!

This is Dana Deeken's third year as a bus driver in the Mehlville School District. Dana arrives at work each day, checks the bus to make sure everything is working properly, then heads out on her route to pick up Mehlville Early Childhood students. Her favorite part of her job is being with her students. She also loves that she feels supported by others in the Transportation Department.

Lisa Gastreich has been a substitute teacher in the Mehlville School District for the past decade. Before her career in education, Lisa worked in sales for 20 years. She found substitute teaching when looking for a change because she didn't feel like she was making a difference each day. One of her favorite things about working as a substitute teacher is the flexibility. She's able to choose the days and locations where she works. She also loves the connections she makes with the kids and feels the work she does is rewarding.

Visit the My Mehlville Story section of our website to hear more testimonials from our staff about their experience working in the Mehlville School District.
