The Mehlville High School Majorettes and Oakville High School Tiger Twirlers competed in the Midwest Regional Twirling Competition. Each time won a category and placed as the runner-up in the other: 

• Mehlville Majorettes: Regional Halftime Champions and second place in Regional Dance Twirl
• Oakville Tiger Twirlers: Regional Dance Twirl Champions and second place in Regional Halftime

All-Conference Boys Tennis Team - Oakville High School

Three Oakville High School student-athletes were named to the All-Conference boys tennis team: 

• Josh Tiemann, a senior, was named to the All-Conference First Team in both singles and doubles. He also finished fourth in singles at the state tournament.

Summer leadership opportunities

Seven Oakville High School sophomores were selected to attend summer leadership opportunities this summer: 

• Alyssa Boehlje, Scott Janson and Tanner Medina are attending the Missouri Scholars Academy at the University of Missouri. The program will allow them to enhance their academic skills by attending guest lectures, forums, culture events and other programs in areas that interest them.
• Max Bradley, Ella Roth and Sydney Wideman are attending the Hugh O'Brian Youth Leadership Missouri Seminar at Webster University. These students are participating in unique leadership training, service-learning and motivation-building experiences. 
• Delaney Brawley was selected to attend the Missouri Leadership Seminar at the University of Central Missouri. Delaney was exposed to panels of professional speakers about pressing issues and empowered to change lives by making a positive difference in her community.

Seal of Biliteracy - Mehlville High School

Nine Mehlville High School students earned the Seal of Biliteracy by building a social-cultural portfolio, attending and participating in cultural events and proving they can speak, read and write fluently in multiple languages. Three students scored at the highest levels of proficiency to earn a Distinguished Seal of Biliteracy.

• Merisa Omerovic, a senior, earned the Distinguished Seal of Biliteracy in Bosnian, as well as a Seal of Biliteracy in German.
• Lejla Sehic, a senior, earned the Distinguished Seal of Biliteracy in Bosnian.
• Ajsa Zahirovic, a junior, earned the Distinguished Seal of Biliteracy in Bosnian.

• Nick Moehlenbrock, a junior, was named to the All-Conference First Team in the high jump, the 4X200 relay and 4X100 relay. 
• Andrew Kaletka, a junior, was named to the All-Conference First Team for 110-meter high hurdles and 300-meter intermediate hurdles, as well as the All-Conference Second Team in pole vault.
• Elijah McDaniel, a junior, was named to the All-Conference First Team for the 4X200 relay and 4X100 relay. He also received the Conference Sportsmanship Award.

Mehlville High School students competed in the HOSA - Future Health Professionals state competition. Several students placed, with two advancing to the international level of competition:

• Seniors Ava Chancellor and Maddy Geisler received All Missouri for Overall Newspaper/News Magazine for The Prowl.
• Chancellor also received All Missouri for Newsmagazine Cover Design.
• Sophomore Haley Hughes received All Missouri for her newspaper Sports Reporting story "Finding Motivation." 
• Bess received All-Missouri for newspaper Sports Reporting for his story "Sibling on the Sidelines."
• The 2022-2023 yearbook received Best of Show for Portrait/People Package - Seniors.

The twirling teams at Mehlville High School and Oakville High School each won a category at the Missouri state twirling championships.

Missouri YMCA Youth and Government program award-winners

Oakville High School students participated in the Missouri YMCA Youth and Government program in Jefferson City, a three-day, student-led simulation of the three branches of state government. Several students received awards for their work:

• Bryce Kesselring, a senior, received Outstanding Bill Collaboration for his work in the Senate. His bill on legalizing sports betting passed through both chambers and was signed by the YAG governor.
• Mason Bader and Sawyer Bess, both seniors, received the Media Dynamic Duo Award for their video work.
• Travis Norris, a senior, was recognized as the Outstanding Statesperson for his work as a committee chair and dedication in the House.
• Owen Mellinger, a junior, was elected as the Speaker of the House for next year's conference

Two Mehlville School District students received STAR Awards through their programs at South Tech High School. STAR Award recipients are nominated by staff and other students for their care, kindness and dedication.

• Lanie Twillman, a senior at Oakville High School, received four nominations, including one from a teacher who said, "Over the past two years, she has not only been amazing with the children but also helped the teachers and high school students so much. She does everything in her power to make everybody's life around her so much easier, and she's so nice and kind to everybody. Not only is she a student worker but also a student ambassador, and she is always willing to come and help around the area."
• Noor Moughal, a junior at Mehlville High School, was nominated by a teacher who said, "Noor is always working hard and eager to put all of her knowledge and skills into practice with guests in the student salon. Seal of Biliteracy - Oakville High School

Dzejlana Hodzic, a junior at Oakville High School, earned the Distinguished Seal of Biliteracy from the Missouri Department of Elementary and Secondary Education. This honor is given to students who score at the highest level of proficiency in English and at least one other language before high school graduation. Hodzic earned the seal in Bosnian.

21 other Oakville High School students also earned the Missouri Seal of Biliteracy by building a social-cultural portfolio, attending and participating in cultural events and proving they can speak, read and write fluently in multiple languages. Some colleges and universities will allow Hodzic and these students to have up to six credit hours allotted to them upon entry to college based on their competency and having the seal on their transcript.
