Free breakfast and lunch continues through the 2021 summer session
Mehlville School District has received a waiver from the USDA that allows our School Food and Nutrition Services staff to serve free meals to all children 18 and under living in Mehlville School District through the end of the 2020-2021 school year, which includes the 2021 summer session. Students also have the option to purchase extra items. Use MySchoolBucks to add money to your child’s account for extra items. View lunch menus.

When students arrive at school, they can pick up free breakfast from a staff member at a breakfast cart. They will take breakfast with them to their classroom where they will eat before class begins.

Several safeguards are in place to protect students from the spread of COVID-19 while at lunch. Teachers are having students wash their hands prior to coming to the cafeteria. Our SFNS staff are wearing masks, washing their hands frequently and sanitizing surfaces often. Additionally, items are being individually wrapped and prepackaged, and students are sitting in assigned areas of the cafeteria and spaced out as much as possible to allow for social distancing.
