Water Testing Results: Washington Middle School

SCI collected 47 drinking water samples from various water fixtures located throughout the structure and submitted them for analytical testing. The water samples were analyzed for lead in accordance with the “Get the Lead Out of School Drinking Water Act,” Section 160.077, which establishes an action level of 5 parts per billion (ppb). The 5 ppb level required by the state is a stricter threshold than the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency’s (EPA’s) recommended action level of 15 ppb. The drinking water samples which exceeded the action level are identified below.
