Back-to-School Guide 2020-2021Mehlville School District teachers and staff are excited to welcome your children back to school this year. Below you’ll find the information and links that you need to start back to school in our Connected or Mehlville@Home plan.

Here is your complete guide to return to learning in On-Campus Plan C: Connected or in Mehlville@Home.

Virtual back-to-school events
Virtual back to school event dates will be communicated by your child’s school.

Mehlville School District elementary schools will be hosting Kindergarten Family Meetings Aug. 25-28. During these days, all kindergarten families will have 45 minutes of dedicated time to meet with their child's teacher. During this meeting, families will pick-up supplies/at-home learning kit, learn how to log into and navigate the Chromebook and be introduced to electronic learning platforms like SeeSaw and iReady. Look for more information from your child’s school.

Supply lists
Supply lists for Mehlville School District students will be communicated by your child’s school and posted on your child’s school website

Chromebook distribution
All registered Mehlville School District students will receive a Chromebook to use to participate in virtual learning. Your principal/school will be in contact regarding a distribution date. Students who have a Chromebook from spring 2020 will not need to pick up a new Chromebook. For assistance with your Chromebook, please email our technology team at [email protected].

The district has a limited number of hot spots available for families who do not have internet access. Please contact your child’s school if you need assistance with internet.

Meals
Mehlville School District will be offering free breakfast and lunch curbside Monday through Friday from 10:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m. during Plan C: Connected. Complete this form to let our School Food & Nutrition staff know which days you are planning to pick up meals.

Families with students at multiple schools can pick up meals at the same location. Meal bags will include one complete breakfast and one complete lunch.

Obtain your child’s immunizations
The Missouri Department of Health and Senior Services will not be making exceptions for vaccination requirements for the upcoming school year. Please contact your family medical doctor, urgent care or the public health department to get your student's immunizations prior to the start of the fall semester.
