Mehlville School District Graduation Rates and Graduation Follow Up
Adjusted Cohort Graduation Rate-Three Year:
The three year adjusted cohort graduation rate is the number of students who graduate in three years with a regular high school diploma, divided by the number of students who form the adjusted cohort for the graduating class rounded to the tenth.
Adjusted Cohort Graduation Rate–Four Year:
The four year adjusted cohort graduation rate is the number of students who graduate in four years with a regular high school diploma divided by the number of students who form the adjusted cohort for the graduating class rounded to the tenth. From the beginning of 9th grade, students who are entering that grade for the first time form a cohort that is subsequently 'adjusted' by adding any students who transfer into the cohort later during the 9th grade and the next three years and subtracting any students who transfer out, emigrate to another country, or die during that same period
Adjusted Cohort Graduation Rate–Five Year, Six Year and Seven Year:
The five year adjusted cohort graduation rate is calculated using the same method as the four-year rate with the exception that it includes both four and five year graduates in the fifth-year cohort. The same will apply for the six-and seven-year rates.
The table and chart below represent the % of students in the graduating Class of 2024 who graduated high school in 3 years, 4 years, 5 years, 6 years and 7 years.
