Most classes and experiences will be moved to the Affton High School pool.
(We will not have recreational swim at the Affton pool.)

Swimming Pool

The Mehlville School District Swimming Pool is located on the
Mehlville High School Campus at 3100 Lemay Ferry Road, St. Louis, MO 63125.

Enter the campus at the stoplight (Lemay Ferry and Will Avenue) and
proceed around the back of the buildings.

The pool is located in a large brown building with the green roof
(separate from the High School) by the football field and track.

RECREATIONAL SWIM INFORMATION

Recreational Swim Policies and Procedures
1. Please follow all posted public health protocols and the posted Pool Rules.
2. All patrons may enter the pool at the designated swim start times. When the bell rings, patrons must promptly exit the pool as this indicates the end of the session or an emergency.
3. All patrons must vacate the pool building by the posted session end time.
4. Please note: Lap lanes are reserved for those who wish to swim laps - no water exercise or floating up/down the lanes allowed - please use the main pool area.
5. Lap lanes are not for individual use. One, two, three or four swimmers may circle swim (down on the right side, back on the right side) in one lane. If you are a faster swimmer, we ask you to use Lane 2.  Slower swimmers may use Lane 1.
6. Swimmers using the lap lanes are allowed in the lane for no more than 55 minutes.
7. The diving board is opened at the supervisor's discretion and is based on desired pool usage among other factors.
8. If the diving board is open, please do not lap swim in lanes 3 or 4 and do not swim under the dividing rope into the dive area.
9. Pool staff members may reserve one lane for private lesson instruction. This will be designated with a lane line for lane 5 in the water.
10. Please leave all signage and lane lines in place.
11. Pool hours are subject to change (cancellation/early closure) due to weather, attendance and school district direction.

Monday-Friday: 12-2 p.m.
*The pool is closed April 12, 16, 22, 26, 30 due to P.E. classes.

Tuesday and Thursday: 7-9 p.m.
 
Saturday: 1-3 p.m.
Sunday: 10 a.m.-12 p.m.

Adult (18 - 59 years) - $4.00 per swim session

Learn to Swim | Ages 3-5 and 6-12+

Enroll your child in swim lessons at the Mehlville Pool. Children will learn about water safety, build their confidence and practice swimming strokes. Space is limited. Classes run for 50 minutes. The Mehlville Pool is located at 3100 Lemay Ferry Road. The Affton High School pool is located at 8309 Mackenzie Road.

*A try-out is required for Coached Lap Swim. Students should be able to swim 50 yards of freestyle with breathing, 50 yards of backstroke and 50 yards of another stroke (breaststroke, sidestroke or butterfly). If you are unsure, please bring the student to a recreational swim time, where the pool staff may evaluate the student.

Learn to Swim | Ages 3-5 and 6-12+

Water Dance | Ages 12-102
Jump in the shallow end and dance the night away! This is a high-energy dance workout in the pool. Classes are held on Tuesday evenings. Adults and children (ages 12 and over) are welcome if they are 4' or taller and can stand in the shallow end without assistance. *Discounts for MSDR9 staff and 60plus Gold Card Members.
