Mehlville School District uses the SchoolMessenger Notification System to provide timely communication via voice messages, email or text messaging to parents on emergencies, news, events and activities.

SchoolMessenger allows parents to manage their alert contacts and their preferences for receiving information via the SchoolMessenger InfoCenter website and app. Sign up for an account to:

  • Manage contact information for notifications
  • Control the way you are contacted for a variety of message types, and
  • See an inbox of past messages you may have missed.

In order to register your SchoolMessenger InfoCenter account, you must have an email address on file with your child’s school and in the Student Information System Parent Portal. If you need to provide an email address, or are unsure if you have already provided an email address, please contact your child’s school.

Please Note: You do not have to sign-up for SchoolMessenger’s InfoCenter portal. The contact information you have already given your child’s school will automatically be used for notifications. InfoCenter simply gives you the power to set preferences, add additional contacts and review messages.

How do I sign up for InfoCenter? Signing up for InfoCenter is easy. Using the email address that you have on file, follow these three steps:

  1. Download the InfoCenter by SchoolMessenger app from the Apple App Store or Google Play Market. You can also access the InfoCenter web portal by clicking here or by clicking on “SchoolMessenger” in the Mehlville School District app.
  2. Click the “Sign up” link, enter your email address, and create a password. An email will be sent to that address with a secure token.
  3. After authenticating via the token sent to your email, return to InfoCenter and sign in using your email and password.

Text Message Opt-In

In order to receive texts about emergencies or events at your child’s school, simply text the word YES to 67587 from any wireless device on file with your child’s school or added via the SchoolMessenger InfoCenter.

Please check with your phone service provider for possible text messaging charges.

IMPORTANT: Always alert the school office if you are a parent or guardian and your contact information has changed. School staff do not have access to the preference and contact information you update in SchoolMessenger.
