Community Enrichment is offering a variety of classes this Winter/Spring!

Abra-Kid-Abra (Grades 1-5)  In this class students will develop presentation skills and confidence in front of a group and build creativity and thinking skills, all while having fun with magic.  $75 CLICK HERE FOR INFO


Art Time (Grades 1-6) Students will create a variety of paintings and drawings with an experienced art teacher. Classes are held at Oakville High School. Please refer to the website for the supply list.  $30 CLICK HERE FOR INFO


Bricks 4 Kidz (Grades K-5) New projects! Build machines, skyscrapers, vehicles and other structures out of motorized LEGO bricks. Models of varying degrees of difficulty are offered to accommodate the age range of the class.  $95 CLICK HERE FOR INFO


Cheer (Grades K-7) The class will focus on the basic fundamentals of cheerleading such as motion, technique, jumps, cheer dance, stunting and basic tumbling. A pom pom routine will be taught which the students will perform on the final day of camp. $60 CLICK HERE FOR INFO


Chess (Grades K-12) Interactive lessons that are followed by casual and competitive chess games.  $125 CLICK HERE FOR INFO


Jewelry Creations (Grades K-8) Learn the basics of jewelry making while working with beads, charms, metal stamping, Shrinky Dinks and more! Materials will be provided. $90 CLICK HERE FOR INFO


Little Dental School (Grades K-5) Brings medicine, science and the importance of health to children in an entertaining, exciting and fun way.  Each child receives a diploma, disposable lab coat, toothbrush cover, tooth cooker cutter and so much more. $95 CLICK HERE FOR INFO

Little Sports Medicine School (Grades 3-5) With your white coat and reflex hammer, learn how real doctors do an assessment for sports injuries. Learn about common problems from playing sports such as sprains, strains, and athlete’s foot and how to diagnosis and treat them. Learn what it is like to be an orthopedic surgeon and perform Tommy John Surgery. Make a model of the hand and see how the tendons and ligaments work and what can go wrong. $95 CLICK HERE FOR INFO


Little Wilderness (Grades K-5)  Brings medicine, science and the importance of health to children in an entertaining, exciting and fun way. Our program will teach children about some of the dangers in the wild and how to safely handle a medical situation. $95 CLICK HERE FOR INFO


Mad Science (Grades K-5)  Students will learn about electricity and make thunder and lightning indoors with our electro-static. They will explore the wonders of color and light and see how one small device can turn a plain classroom into a world of color. $98 CLICK HERE FOR INFO

Spanish for Kids (Grades K-5) Children will learn practical vocabulary, correct pronunciation and the basic sentence structure necessary to understand and use the Spanish language. No prior Spanish experience required. $30 CLICK HERE FOR INFO

 (Grades 3-5) Mehlville School District will offer a winter/spring strings program at 10 elementary schools. Please view class locations, dates and times through your Rev Trak account. $105 CLICK HERE FOR INFO

Tennis (Grades K-8) A recreational program where students can learn the game and have fun in the process! Indoor session in Bernard's Gymnasium or outdoor session on Bernard's Tennis courts. $60 CLICK HERE FOR INFO


Women’s Self Defense (Ages 16 & up) A two-class session open to women 16 years and older covering elements for effective defensive actions, including the importance of the starting conditions and physical tactics such as striking. Learn simple and effective strategies developed from research & professional experience. $40 per session CLICK HERE FOR INFO


Zumba (Ages 18 & up) Burn calories and activate muscle groups by incorporating Latin rhythms that can be modified for all physical types. No dance experience needed. $40 CLICK HERE FOR INFO


There will be four sessions of driver’s education offered during the Winter and Spring of 2019 for students ages 15 and up. Classes will run Monday through Thursday from 3:30 to 6 pm. Students may be required to drive before class and on Fridays and weekends. CLICK HERE FOR INFO

Session 2:  February 19 to March 11

Session 3:  March 25 to April 15

Session 4:  April 22 to May 9


The fee for Driver’s Education is $200 for district residents and $225 for non-residents.



Coached Lap Swim
(all ages with tryout) A coach/monitor will be present at each session with a prepared workout on the board.  The workouts can be adjusted up or down depending on age and

Kayak: Intro To Whitewater Kayaking (Ages 15 & up) This is the perfect way to get started in whitewater kayaking. You will begin building fundamental skills indoors, in a warm pool. Skills include strokes, braces, and the roll, plus blending strokes for river maneuvers. Discussion will cover safety, gear, river running, and more. $90 plus $25 equipment rental fee (if needed). Kayak: Learning to Roll (Ages 15 & up) This class is focused on learning how to roll a whitewater kayak. At this class, you will receive some poolside instruction and then work one-on-one with instructors in the pool, progressively learning and strengthening components parts of the roll until you have put it all together. $40 CLICK HERE FOR INFO


Kayak: Open Pool Practice (Ages 15 & up) Bring your whitewater kayak and practice strokes, rolling, play moves, etc. in the warm pool. This does not include formal instruction, but Missouri Whitewater Association instructors will be on hand to coach. $40 CLICK HERE FOR INFO

Saturday Morning Learn to Swim/Advanced Swim (Ages 3 & up) There will be two 7-week sessions offered. Classes run for 50 minutes every Saturday. Advanced Swim is held at 8 AM and 1 PM. Learn to Swim lessons are held at 8, 9, 10, 11 AM and 12 and 1 PM. Fee for residents: $40/7 weeks (nonresidents pay $50/7 weeks). CLICK HERE FOR INFO

Swimnastics (Ages 18 & up)  The Winter/Spring session will begin the week of January 30, 2019.  New sessions begin every eight weeks. Classes run Mondays and/or Wednesdays from 6:30 to 7:30 PM. The fee for this class is as follows: $40 for 8 classes; $50 for 16 classes (60plus Gold Card Members: $25 for 8 classes; $35 for 16 classes) CLICK HERE FOR INFO


Recreational Swim hours are Monday through Friday 6 to 7 AM (lap swim only); Sunday through Friday 11 AM to 1 PM; Tuesday and Friday 7:30 to 9:30 PM; Saturday 2:00 to 4:30 PM Fee: $3 for students and 60plus members, $4 for adults, $6 per family. Year long memberships are available - please see the pool supervisor or call 314-467-5280.
