Mission Statement

The mission of the Mehlville School District is to ensure that all students reach their potential by preparing them to be lifelong learners and responsible citizens through a dynamic curriculum, student-centered instruction, a safe and nurturing environment and community collaboration.

About the District

Located in south St. Louis County, the Mehlville School District encompasses all or part of the unincorporated communities of Mehlville, Oakville, Concord and Lemay. Through its dedication to providing institutional excellence, fiscal responsibility and community benefit, this fully accredited District serves the educational needs of about 11,000 children in a growing community of more than 90,000 residents within a 44-square-mile area.

The Mehlville School District Administration Building is located on the campus of Mehlville High School and is open on weekdays from 7 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. The mailing address for Central Office is 3120 Lemay Ferry Road, St. Louis, MO 63125. National District of Character

In 2014, Character.org (formerly Character Education Partnership), a national advocate and leader for the character education movement, named the Mehlville School District as a National District of Character.

15 Mehlville School District schools are classified as State or National Schools of Character by Character.org. Each school is recognized for its commitment to character education and for fostering a positive environment for social and academic learning.
