Grab-and-Go Meals

Grab-and-go meals available in July at MHS and OHS only

Mehlville School District will continue to offer grab-and-go meals through the end of July. Starting on July 6, the district will distribute meals on Mondays and Thursdays from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Mehlville High School and Oakville High School only.

During the week of June 29, meals will be distributed on Monday for the entire week. There will not be meal pick-ups on Thursday, July 2.

Meals are available for any child, age 18 and younger, living within Mehlville School District. Kids do NOT need to qualify for free or reduced price meals to take advantage of our grab-and-go meals.

As of June 15, Mehlville School District’s School Food and Nutrition Services have served 38,413 breakfasts and 38,413 lunches since the extended closure began in March.

We are distributing meals on Mondays and Thursdays. On Mondays, families can pick up three days worth of meals for children 18 and under living in Mehlville School District. On Thursdays, families can pick up two days worth of meals.

Will meals be provided to Mehlville School District students during the extended closure?
Yes, free meals will be available for pick-up at during our closure and through the end of July.

Will meals be provided to VICC students?
Our Voluntary Intradistrict Choice Corporation (VICC) students may access grab-and-go meals close to home through St. Louis Public Schools.

Are meals just for students who qualify for free and reduced lunch?
No. Any student can get a free lunch and breakfast each day. Students must be present, and we prefer they arrive via car and remain in the car in our pick-up lanes.

Are meals just for Mehlville School District students?
No. Our grab-and-go meal service is for any child 18 and under living in Mehlville School District. Children who attend parochial or private school can take advantage of this service.

Do parents have to be present to get meals?
No. We will serve any student, while supplies last. Young students should be supervised and must respect social distancing.
